Let's start with an overview

When it comes to Texas Hold'em poker, every player will be dealt with 2 private cards known as pocket cards or hole cards. Further when the cards are dealt, there will be a betting round amidst the players. Next to this, the third community card will be dealt which proceeds with the 2nd betting round. As a procedural practice, the fourth and fifth community card will be dealt preceding the 3rd and 4th betting round. Using any 5 cards from five community cards or two pocket cards, the players can make the best 5 card and win the game.

Getting geared to rumble

First is the Table, which can typically hold around ten players. Poker table which has less number of players or with just 4 hands are named as "Short handed" and table which has merely 2 players is referred as "Heads up".

Who plays first?

This is certainly the first question that everyone will question. Well, to solve this factor, one single card will be dealt face-up towards every player! The top rated high card will be considered as the 1st dealer. High card is nothing just the top worth cards 10, J, Q, K, and many more. The starting dealer point is marked by a plastic white chip known as button. The button will rotate clockwise from one player to the other, when every round of game gets over.

Blinds

Prior when the cards are being dealt, the forced bets known as the Small Blind and Big Blind are formally made. SB or Small Blind posture is generally the seat present in the Dealer's left phase and BB or Big Blind is usually the seat present in the left side of SB.

Shuffle n Deal

The card is thoroughly shuffled, where the dealer further deals 2 cards towards face down of every player with 1 card at a moment. These cards which are dealt are your Pocket cards or Hole cards.

Give a start to the game

During the game, every player will bet certain amount of money for the game. This amount is known as the Pot! Prior after the completion of every betting round, the bets will certainly go to the pot till the game is Showdown. After getting the cards, every player will be involved in five acts such as check, bet, call, fold, raise and re-raise.

After this entire workout, the betting will start its role and the players will keep betting round after rounds. When all the bets gets over in the final betting round, the players who remain in the game keep exposed and finally evaluate their hands to ensure the winner of the game. This is known as Showdown. With all calculations, the winner will be announced.
